Copay is a free and open source shared Bitcoin wallet. The company uses HD‑multisignature wallet from BitPay. There is no exchange or trading service. It´s possible to have both personal and business account with the multisig wallet feature.

Copay is an open source multisig Bitcoin wallet created by Bitpay. Multisig wallet means that a single wallet can have multiple users. This is good for corporate accounts where several signatures are required in order to confirm a transaction. The wallet also has three interfaces:

Copay is a pure Bitcoin wallet and not an exchange or an account service. Since it is a multisig wallet it’s possible to secure the account with one or multiple signatures. By securing with multiple signatures, you can share an account with others such as friends, family or coworkers. The wallet is supplied by Bitpay.
The Copay app securely stores multiple, distinct Bitcoin wallets. This allows you to have both business and privacy-conscious users funds carefully separated. It’s possible to manage personal, business, and testnet wallets easily from the app. The app is available for:

Copay has brought testnet support to both iOS and Windows Phone. Copay includes native support for the Bitcoin Testnet. This is helpful for testing new bitcoin applications across multiple platforms. With multisignature (P2SH) and multiple wallet support, Copay makes it simple for developers to test and demo Bitcoin applications without switching between other mobile apps.

Copay app and the server is open source. Enterprise and power users can take full control of their finances by deploying their own version of the Copay apps and Bitcore Wallet Service. Every part of Copay, wallet and server, is available to be reviewed, improved, and developed by the community.
